Gatherers stand out with their ability to perform various Dances, supporting allies, locating resources, and even intimidating. If you desire a class that combines resource collection with team support and adaptable combat techniques, the Gatherer offers a distinctive and rewarding path.
Gatherer Skills
Wielder of... loot!
"Touch my flowers, and I'll sting you in the eye!"
These skills are purposely vague because I'm purposely lazy. Or... (and?) because I need the flexibility to change skills if the story calls for it.
Take what's here with a grain of salt. I would sooner break continuity with
this here fine website than make the story worse.
Sting
Project an ethereal stinger to damage enemies and apply Venom Counters from a distance.
Rejuvenating Honey
Create a dollop of consumable honey that heals and provides temporary waxen armor.
Honey Bomb
Throw an exploding honey bomb that slows and increases damage taken by affected targets.
Throw Loot
Hurl gathered materials at enemies for damage while gaining a speed boost.
Wax Hold
Trap enemies in breakable wax molds, immobilizing them until freed.
Bee-line
Dash quickly in a chosen direction, dodging attacks. Can be used vertically to launch in the air where the Bee can use their wings (at level 5).
Drone Laborer
Summon worker bees to assist with gathering and building tasks.
Bee Swarm
Call forth a swarm of bees to sting enemies in an area, applying Venom Counters.
Wax Wall
Construct a defensive honeycombed wall.
Pollen Path
eave a path of pollen your allies may follow. Grant a speed bonus to all. Prevents the use of Stamina for you or your allies while the skill is active.
Dance of Intimidation
Waggle your buns to intimidate foes within an area. These enemies’ attacks do less damage. Resource generation is slowed.
Drone Dive Bomb
Summon giant worker bees to crash into the enemy, exploding into nectar on impact. The nectar amplifies damage taken for a time.
Amber Encase
Boost allies' skill effects through an empowering dance.
Guardian
Summon a giant sentinel bee to guard and counter-attack foes.
Dance of Revelation
Perform a waggling dance that summons bees to explore the area for resources, secrets, traps, and enemies.
Can only have one Dance effect active at a time.
Hive Mark
Mark a location to act as the Gatherer’s hive. The Gatherer may pay all current Materials to teleport to their hive location.
Bee’s Senses
Increases detection range for resources and hidden treasures.
Bountiful
Gathering materials has a (Level)% chance of doubling yield.
Bee Wings
Upon reaching level five, gain the ability to summon wings and tame bees.
Dance of Prosperity
The Gatherer performs a dance on fertile land, increasing the growth rate of crops and herbs in the area by (1/2 Vitality)%. When these are harvested, they have a (Vitality)% chance of increasing yield.
Can only have one Dance effect active at a time.
Royal Jelly Constitution
Create a Royal Jelly that, when consumed, temporarily boosts health.
Honeyed Momentum
Each successful offensive action grants +1 Honey. At 5 Honey, your next skill is empowered, increasing the effect.
Queen
You are the Queen Bee, the heart of your hive, and all those who serve you—your party, naturally—gain your blessing.
Your followers gain increased stamina, health regen, and resource regen. One skill can be triggered for free per minute.
